  • In QuickBooks, tracking or shipment can be canceled. Choose File> Shipin, followed by your shipping provider. Select/highlight your shipment and press track option from the list of your shipment.
  • By clicking Add in the Package section of the Shipping Manager, multiple shipping packages can be created.
  • Basic features only work with specific shipping providers.

Set Up Shipping Manager for FedEx, UPS, USPS

QuickBooks Shipping Manager in for FedEx

  • First, go to the ‘File’ menu.
  • Choose the ‘Shipping’ option from the ‘File’ menu
  • And select the ‘Ship FedEx Package’ option from the ‘Shipping’ sub-category. (If you try it for the first time, a wizard will guide you through this process.)
  • Read the end-user license agreement, I agree to the terms and conditions, then choose Next.
  • You have to enter your account details.
  • You have to arrange your printer settings. Additional printer settings will be available after setup after that choose ‘Next’.
  • Once your account is fully configured, then the selection expires.
  • Now you can process the shipment.

QuickBooks Shipping Manager in for UPS

  • Go to File, then the Shipping tab.
  • Then, select the ‘Ship UPS Package’ option. (If this is your first-time setup, a savvy will guide you through the process.)
  • You will enter your account details. You only have to input this description once. The shipping manager will store it for future use.
  • Read and terminate the user license agreement, I agree to the terms and conditions, then choose Next.
  • After that, you will arrange your printer settings. Additional printer settings will be available after setup, then choose Next.
  • Once your account is fully configured, choose Finish.

QuickBooks Shipping Manager in for USPS

  • Get to File.
  • Then choose the ‘Ship USPS Package’ option from the ‘Shipping’ sub-tab. (If this is your first-time setup, a wizard will guide you through this process.)
  • Make a new Stamps.com account or utilize my existing Stamps.com account.
  • If you select Use my existing account:
    • Read the terms and conditions, choose I agree to the terms and conditions, then the next desktop.
    • You will enter your existing Stamps.com account details.
    • You will arrange your printer settings.
    • Then, complete the setup.
    • Now you can process the shipment.
  • Choose to make a new Stamps.com account:
    • You have to choose a plan and after that select the plan that satisfies you best.
      • Limited plan
      • Full plan
  • Read the End User License Agreement, I agree to the terms and conditions, then choose Continue.
  • You have to enter your account details.
  • You will arrange your Printer Settings
  • Arrange scale settings. Reminder: If you have selected the entire plan, the 5-lb digital scale is free and you only need to pay shipping and handling.
  • Complete setup after that.
  • Now you can process the shipment.

Set up Shipping Manager in QuickBooks Desktop Manager for Sale

Step 1: Turn on Shipping Manager

  • Access File> Preferences> Company.
  • Choose Sales> Then Use Shipping Select QuickBooks Shipping Manager Optional: Select that I do not charge my customers for the shipping checkbox. On the left menu.
  • You have to add or remove providers or services in the list of shipping providers.
  • After that, choose Save.

Step 2: Set up Shipping Manager

  • Get to QuickBooks Shipping> UPS Shipping Options> Settings from the point of sale.
  • Now, Enter your account details.
  • When the end-user license agreement arrives, Select ‘I agree for the terms and conditions’, then choose Next.
  • Arrange your printer settings and after that Additional printer settings will be available after setup. Then choose Next.
  • Once your account is fully configured, choose Finish.

Process Shipment in QuickBooks Shipping Manager

Step 1: Open QB Shipping Manager

The following ways are to launch the shipping manager.

In QuickBooks Desktop:

  • Get to File> Shipping> Ship Package.
  • Either create an invoice or enter the sales receipt window:
  • Get to the Send / Ship tab.
  • Choose your carry, then choose the Ship package.

In QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale: 

  • Select the Sales menu, then choose QB Shipping Manager.

Step 2: Process Shipment

Ship with FedEx
  • You will choose the FedEx service. (Shipping Manager allows you to choose FedEx Express or FedEx Ground service.)
  • You will enter the shipment details and Needed Records are highlighted in red.
  • Press F2 on your keyboard or select the available services to check the rate.
  • Choose Ship to print the label and process the shipment.
  • A shipment confirmation window will appear. If you want the FedEx package tracking number and shipping charges copied to the sales form, check the paste to create a checkbox. Otherwise, you have to select the close.
Ship with UPS
  • You will choose the UPS service. (Shipping Manager allows you to choose from UPS domestic services.)
  • Input the shipment details, the needed records are highlighted in red.
  • Press F2 on your keyboard or select the available services to check the rate.
  • Select the ship to print the label and process the shipment.
  • A shipment confirmation window will appear. If you want the UPS package tracking number and shipping charges to appear in the sales form, click on the form. At the point of sale: the UPS tracking number and shipping costs will appear directly on the sales receipt.
  • After that, select Close.
Ship with USPS
  • Select a USPS service.
  • Enter shipment details. The required fields are highlighted in red.
  • Press F2 on your keyboard or select the available services to check the rate.
  • To print labels and process shipments, choose Ship.
  • A shipment confirmation window will appear. If you want the UPS package tracking number and shipping charges to appear in the sales form, check the paste in the form. Otherwise, you have to choose the close.
