    Easy Methods to Fix QuickBooks Error 12002

    Here, we have mentioned the easy methods to resolve the QuickBooks Error 12002 listed below:

    Method 1: Check Internet Explorer Settings

    • First of all, you have to close QuickBooks and then launch Internet Explorer.
    • Then, you have to select Tools> Internet Options.
    • Next, you will choose the Security tab and set the security setting to Medium-High.
    • After that, you will choose the Globe icon> Content tab.
    • You have to make sure that what is a content advisor
    • Now, you have to click on the Connection tab and follow the steps given below:
    1. Never select the connection dial.
    2. Choose the correct ISP and click.
    3. Click LAN Settings and verify that the Automatically detect settings checkbox is enabled.
    4. Now, you have to disable the use of a proxy server.
    5. Uncheck the box when viewing port 8o.
    6. Next, click OK.
    • Choose the Advanced tab and follow the steps below:
    1. Choose Restore Advanced Settings
    2. Use TLS 1.0,TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2.
    3. Verify that usage TLS 1.0 has been checked and others are unregistered.
    • After that, close Internet Explorer and click OK.
    • Reboot your system.
    • Open QuickBooks again.

    Method 2: Update QuickBooks

    • After selection, click on Next.
    • Update QuickBooks again with the following steps:
    1. Select File> Update> Update Now tab for QuickBooks 2006 and earlier versions.

    • Select the Reset Updates checkbox> Get Updates.
